Hello! We’d like to introduce ourselves. Our mission is to help keep cloud services always-on by dynamically protecting cloud, container, and data assets with agentless runtime security. We envision a world where you get full visibility, proactive security posture management, DLP, and responsive self-healing workload protection all the way down to the container level in your cloud environments.
The digital transformation of applications and services is happening in every organization and there is exponential growth of critical processes and data in cloud infrastructure environments. Large environments may run millions of microservices, containers, and serverless operations that are ephemeral and dynamic.
These cloud assets are under constant attack and organizations are falling prey to ransomware and other attacks that bring systems down, damage reputations, and cost organizations millions of dollars. Cloud systems are also at risk from carelessness due to misconfigurations and unintended weak security posture.
Up until now, the tools to address these problems have been manual, time-intensive, and static. They require many man-hours to deploy and manage, usually with a complex array of agents and/or sidecars. They are noisy systems with limited visibility that both overwhelm with data and yet still don’t provide security down to the container level. They gather data too infrequently – leaving the visibility they do provide only useful for a post mortem review of what went wrong rather than providing proactive, dynamic security in real-time.
We created Microsec.AI to solve this security gap for cloud infrastructure systems by providing real-time visibility, security posture remediation, and responsive self-healing protection against attacks in a solution that is easy to deploy with the intelligence to deliver actionable and useful insights and automated remediation.
How it Began
We met years ago while working at Elastica to build one of the first cloud access security broker (CASB) solutions. Elastica was acquired by Blue Coat, then Symantec, and then Broadcom. Today CASB is a well known approach to solve for secure use of SaaS platforms.
It’s been almost two years since we started asking ourselves, what if there was a better way to secure applications in cloud infrastructures? In a more perfect world, how would we do that? Microsec.AI is our answer.
